acting as an extension of Bio2Me.

- Specialists in bioactive species and Cerrado restoration, we are dedicated to growing seedlings and producing high-quality seeds. Our permanent nurseries are located in the heart of the Cerrado: at the entrance to Chapada dos Veadeiros, in Cavalcante and Luziânia, in the state of Goiás.
- We also set up nurseries on properties managed by Bio2Me and on land owned by other b2m-V clients.
- Our knowledge of the Cerrado allows the seedlings and seeds we produce to have the vigor and ideal adaptation to the soil and climate of this biome, with less plant mortality and a high germination rate.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

1. Seed collection
The process begins with the identification of mother trees in the Cerrado with the help of B2MV, our neural network, and the collection of their seeds. Our experts identify mature and healthy trees for planting.

2. Processing
and storageAfter collection, the seeds undergo
a cleaning and drying process to
ensure they are free of impurities
and ready for germination. -
3. Seedling production
With the seeds properly prepared, we begin seedling production in our nurseries. We use germination techniques adapted to each species, providing the ideal environment for seedling development.

4. Care and maintenance
During the growing season, seedlings receive specialized care. Each one is closely monitored to ensure that it reaches its full potential before being transferred to the planting stage.

BUT, AFTER ALL, WHAT IS THE
IMPORTANCE OF SEEDLINGS?

Once planted, seedlings begin a process of capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As they grow, the plants carry out photosynthesis, a process by which they absorb CO₂ and release oxygen.

Carbon credits allow companies and organizations to offset greenhouse gas emissions. Companies and organizations can purchase them to offset their carbon footprint by supporting projects that sequester CO₂. Each tonne of carbon sequestered equals one credit, which can be traded on the carbon market.

The production and planting of seedlings of native species, such as those from the Cerrado, are essential for the recovery of degraded areas. These seedlings help restore local biodiversity, improve soil quality and promote water retention.
